Where There’s A Will There’s A Cure was founded by the family and friends of William Whiston.  Our organization is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization with the mission of funding medical research and advocating for patients afflicted with Myotubular Myopathy (MTM).



Will-Cure has funded and advanced research in multiple areas. At the time of our organizations founding there were no treatment options or any clinical trials for this debilitating disease.  Today there are three clinical trials that we believe will soon provide treatment options for these wonderful kids.

With your help, a viable treatment can be achieved before this terrible disease takes William and the other boys from their loving families. However, as with any rare or orphan disease, funding research is always a challenge.

Will-Cure is taking a lead role in advocating on behalf of older children that might be excluded from clinical trials or potential therapies. Our goal remains to help ALL children and ensure treatments for everyone.
